Our Design Process
Part One: The Project Brief
After receiving and agreeing to our quote we will begin our detail gathering process. We will ask you for an informative write up or “Project Brief”. The purpose of the Project Brief is so we can understand your company or personal vision better. This Project Brief will include information such as, business goals, reasoning, purpose of the site, (whether you would like to sell your products online, build an informational site and learn more about your target audience, for personal fun and/or public use, etc.). This will also be where you explain color dos and don’ts, layout, must have pages/sections, etc. You will also include your logo, graphics, and images if you have them.
Part Two: Planning a Design
After receiving the Project Brief we will go to the planning phase of your website. We put together a layout of your website and provide explanations to our solutions. This part heavily involves the client's input. It is a back and forth process perfecting the structure or bones of the website.
Part Three: First Draft/Prototype
With the Project Brief perfected layout ready we can start to design your website. We will design the look, feel, and style of your new website. Your target audience is our biggest concern. We will design Prototype that you the client can actually explore and navigate online. Once you the client has toured the Prototype, a back and forth will be had until to look, feel and style is achieved.
Part Four: Final Touches
Once a prototype is agreed upon we will continue to add all the finishing touches. These include touches such as, ecommerce, widgets, filling image/video galleries, etc.
Part Five: Delivery to Client
In this part you will give the website a final once over testing functionality, making sure nothing was left out, etc. Once you give it a thumbs-up, the final product is then uploaded and officially launched at your designated domain. All web hosting and domain fees/information will be provided to the client. All updating, maintenance and fees are now the client’s responsibility. The client also can contract us to be Webmaster for our affordable yearly rate.
(* The Web and Graphic Design process is ideally the same, minus the website jargon*)
